So who am I and what qualifies me to help you find balance with food and fitness?

HEY, I'M ELENA!

A Registered Dietitian, who helps women heal their relationships with food, their bodies and exercise so they can become TRULY healthy, fit and confident.

😢5 years ago, I was stuck in the middle of a f*cked up relationship with food, my body and exercise that consumed my life.

 

✖️I grew up as “the fat one”

✖️In 2014 I flipped that identity on it’s head and became “the healthy and fit one”

✖️Later that year, I lost my period. Then…I started binge eating.

✖️I was slapped on the birth control pill by my doc who told me: “You’re just super fit, that’s why you lost your period!”

 

From 2015-2018 I spent my time:

💔 Living in fear of the urge to binge

💔 Going through weekly cycles of having massive binges and then “getting back on track”

💔 Trying every single diet, binge eating recovery strategy, approach to eating I could possibly find…only to end up binging yet again

 

😭 I was in school becoming a freaking DIETITIAN,
supposed to be an expert on teaching people how to eat
and have a healthy lifestyle, and I couldn’t even get control of mine.


🏋️ I also found lifting and FELL IN LOVE with getting strong
and building muscle...
but was constantly trying to complete a fat loss phase
without binging and feeling like a failure.

💖 In 2018 I finally connected the dots between my missing period, f*cked up digestion,
binge eating, and constant food thoughts…

…I realized I'd been doing the same shit over and over again
and expecting different results…

… "Dieting" in some way for years on end while convincing myself I "wasn't being restrictive anymore" so my binge eating must be a "habit" or "emotional coping"

✨ A healthy, Intuitive Eater. I prioritize nutrient dense foods but also listen to my body and allow myself ALL foods. Because of this I effortlessly eat when I’m hungry, stop when I’m full, and move on with my day and have minimal cravings.

Loving lifting EVEN more 🏋️‍♀️, exercise is such an important part of my life, and I now approach it with a HEALTH-first mindset. But still love growing this donk 🍑(lol) and having fun with physique goals.
