My Philosophy

#1

Eating healthy and being fit should ADD to your quality of life, not make you feel restricted and obsessed.

#2

You can be completely free from the urge to binge, no “riding the wave” or distraction techniques necessary.

#3

No physique goal can be sustainable if you put your goal body above your physical and mental health.

MY STORY

Ever since growing up as “the fat friend”, I struggled with my body image and self worth.

I went on diet after diet trying to find confidence in myself, and “finally” transformed my body when I found fitness and my first successful weight loss attempt. But I quickly became obsessed with food, lost my period, and started binge eating.

Through my struggles I developed a love for exercise and nutritious eating, so I became a dietitian. But it took me 4 years to finally break free from binge eating and find “balance”.

When I found it, I had to spread the word. I started my private practice in 2019 and have been working with women ever since who struggle just like I did.

MY MISSION

To show women that they don’t have to waste their lives consumed by food in order to be happy and confident in their bodies.

That “health” doesn’t look like skipping social events to stick to a meal plan or being constantly stressed about eating enough vegetables.

That exercise and nutritious eating are amazing habits meant to supplement your life, not consume it.

That losing your period is a sign of under-eating and overexercising, even if your doctor made it seem like no big deal and just put you on the pill.

That disordered eating is a serious issue that deserves help, even if you don’t have a diagnosed eating disorder.

That your natural body, when you’re just focusing on being healthy, working out to feel strong and powerful, and living a fun and fulfilling life, is your best body.

That fitness can be SO much more fun when you’ve stopped being so focused on your body fat percentage.

That binge eating isn’t caused by a LACK of willpower, but by using TOO MUCH willpower all the time to keep up with your food rules and restrictions.

And that you can be completely, 100% free from binging for good, no matter how many times you’ve tried and failed.

"I met Elena as a client in 2020, taking two group classes with her and provide my highest recommendations. Elena is a true master of her craft-professional, knowledgeable, engaged, and extremely thoughtful. Even though we were in group classes, Elena made the effort to provide individual support to all members, always going above and beyond to answer questions. Elena’s expertise on binge-eating is remarkable and has explored all aspects of the research behind it, allowing her to cater to a variety of clients. Above all, I truly valued Elena’s coaching style, which I found to be warm and kind, but also challenged me to push myself, which is exactly what I was looking for. After nearly three years, I can say I’m in a drastically better place in my own relationship with food and excercise after taking Elena’s classes."
